DT Swiss' Pro Head Reinforcement (PHR) System uses a larger and more spherical contact area. It is designed to balance loads transferred to the rim. The PHR system acts similarly to a ball and socket interface that allows the spoke to pivot and follow the ideal trajectory from the hub to rim.
