There are three major styes of bicycle pumps available, frame pumps, floor pumps and electronic pumps. Many of these pumps have a built-in adapter that allows you to use it on both Presta and Schrader valves.
Frame pumps are compact and comes with a mount that can be placed under your bottle cages or on panier mounts. These lightweight bicycle pumps are designed to fit most bicycle frames and can be stored on your bike so that it is always there when you need it. If you prefer the sleek clean look on your race machine and don’t want to attach the pump to the frame you can easily put it in your back jersey pocket. hydration pack or in saddle bag. Floor pumps are the must have at home for every rider. They have a larger air chamber which makes for easier, faster and accurate inflation with analogue or digital pressure gauges. Range topping models also feature a secondary air chamber that can be uses like a compressor, perfect for home mechanics doing their own tubeless conversions.
Electronic pumps. This type of bicycle pump does need to be recharged but it is the easiest to use out of all the bicycle pumps. These little pumps pack enough power to pump tyres three or four times before a recharge. They’re easy to use, set the required pressure attach to the inflation valve and turn on and the pump gets to work.
