The Tacx T4210 Chain Rivet Extractor Tool is used regularly by professional bike mechanics and cyclists due to its reliability and quality. It secures the chain at two links when joining it, which makes chain displacement practically impossible. It has a hardened punch point that will keep working despite abuse along with the other hardened, glass-fibre reinforced nylon coated, steel parts. It works with 9 and 10 speed chains.
