The Pro Tharsis XC Stem is a phenomenal stem for XC riding due to its high torsional stiffness and lightweight.  The secure headlock system will ensure that it holds your handlebar where you want it.  It is particularly advantageous if you are using a Shimano Di2 groupset.  It allows for internal cable routing and Di2 battery mounting in the steerer tube advancing your bike to professional levels while reducing the clutter on your handlebar.  It is an amazing stem for the discerning rider.
